JUNIOR ROCO
 We
are pleased to announce the success of our junior
drama group, Junior RoCo, now
well established with a growing number of young
members. Junior RoCo (based in Roundhay,
Leeds) helps develop confidence in our members
through all aspects of drama and performance,
including mime work, improvisation and numerous
(very noisy!) games designed to encourage teamwork
and confidence. We also have a lot of fun!
We actively encourage the young members to write
and direct their own material and have some very
talented playwrights in the group. The young members
are also actively engaged in the running of Junior
RoCo Dramatic Society and each term help plan
the programme of activities.
Junior RoCo takes place on a Monday night from
6pm to 7.15pm, during term time only. We aim to
stage two productions a year, usually in the summer
term and around Christmas.
We also arrange theatre trips and welcome guest
leaders to facilitate a range of sessions including
singing! We are always happy to welcome new members
whether on stage or behind the scenes.
